“WDJD: What Did Jesus Do? Look to the Gospels…” WITH FR. TONY STEPHENS, CPM
Please join us Sunday, November 30th, through Thursday, December 4th. All presentations start at 7:00 p.m. in the church each evening of the mission and last approximately 45 minutes, followed by a Benediction prayer service. Priests will be available for confessions each night of the mission (before and after).
Fr. Stephens is from the Fathers of Mercy Religious order. He can enrich the faith-life of all who attend, including the devout and the doubtful. For people who are not Catholic, or who are just unclear about what it is that Catholics really believe, the parish mission is an exciting way for them to hear a clear presentation of the Catholic faith and get real answers to their questions.
Parents, please encourage your teens on the importance of attending this parish mission, even as you set an example for them by your own attendance. Additionally, please bring along a friend or relative who might not otherwise intend to go alone.
Our Lady of the Gulf Parish and the Fathers of Mercy welcome all to attend this dynamic parish mission. Please mark the dates on your calendar and learn “WDJD: What Did Jesus Do? Look to the Gospels…”
Father Mike promises—if you attend, you will be glad you did!
REMINDER that November has five Sundays, and that means we will be asking you to please consider a donation to our St. Vincent de Paul Society Conference of OLG/St. Rose de Lima/St. Clare. Funds are low and the need is great in our community right now, and St. Vincent de Paul relies totally on your continued support and generosity. You may make a donation at any time of the year—just place your donation in an envelope marked ‘St. Vincent de Paul’ and place in the collection baskets at any Mass. Thank you for your consideration!
We acknowledge Christ really present in the Blessed Sacrament; therefore, adoration of the Incarnate God is most worthy. Eucharistic Adoration is prayer before the Blessed Sacrament exposed in a monstrance, continued by successive worshipers day and night without intermission.
Can you spend an hour with Jesus? Please visit our St. Joseph Adoration Chapel located at 107 Union Street. If you would like to commit to an hour, contact James San Fillippo at 228-671-1835.
